We are proud of our agricultural roots, of our anchorage in a sustainable environment where respect for nature is intimately linked to our history and our way of life.

The Grand Pic Saint-Loup is an area of great natural beauty, forged by agricultural and viticultural activities. Respect for the land and its biodiversity is part of our DNA and our shared values.

The art of living well

In the Grand Pic Saint-Loup, we love good things. Good products, good wines and life in the open air, between vineyards and garrigues. We will welcome you and share with you our quality of life, combining healthy pleasures and preserved nature.

Natura 2000 sites: preserving biodiversity

A European commitment to the protection of habitats and biodiversity.

Carte Natura 2000

The Grand Pic Saint-Loup is also concerned by 3 other Natura 2000 sites:
"Hautes Garrigues du Montpelliérais", with the aim of preserving birds and their habitats.
The "Gorges de l'Hérault", under the "habitat, fauna and flora" directive.

And finally the "Le Lez" site, which more specifically concerns the upstream course of the river Lez.

The Natura 2000 site classification is an essential tool of the European policy of biodiversity preservation, for a better consideration of its stakes in human activities.

The "Pic Saint-Loup" Natura 2000 site is managed by the Communauté de Communes du Grand Pic Saint-Loup. Its preservation objectives concern natural habitats, plant species and animal species (except birds). It is located entirely on the Grand Pic Saint-Loup.

Encourage local production, short circuits and quality products while limiting transport and carbon emissions.

Respect the paths, the eco-system and the habitats.

During your walks, be careful not to destroy low walls, ponds and embankments, which are all habitats for wildlife.

Enjoy the time.

It costs nothing and brings only benefits.

You will enjoy your stay more intensely, the moments shared and the local life.

Travel out of season.

The Pic Saint-Loup is beautiful all year round!

Change your habits.

Get away from the classic places that are often crowded and choose lesser-known marked paths, which also have their charms, for a tourism of experiences, immersion and encounters.

Minimise your waste.
