L'AUBERGE DU CEDRE

Neither hotel nor bed and breakfast, French inns are unclassifiable establishments usually thought of as great, old family houses with a labyrinth of stairs and breezy corridors, many function rooms, bedrooms and suites that give onto vast terraces bathed in light, and grounds filled with hundred-year-old trees.
That describes the old manor house of the Domaine de Cazeneuve. People come here for couples weekends, family getaways or school reunions amongst friends; or for short courses, seminars, to work or learn in peace, quiet and simplicity. The luxury here is the spaciousness and surroundings, old stones and the serene atmosphere of the place. Most of the rooms have been recently renovated, with modern, spacious bathrooms. One room on the ground floor has been adapted for disabled people.
