BOUCLE CYCLO N°14 - LE TOUR DU PUECH DES MOURGUES
Au départ de Vacquières, village de tradition viticole et verrière, vous traverserez le magnifique terroir de l’AOC Pic Saint-Loup, entre pinèdes, garrigues, vignobles et villages de charme.
Starting from Vacquières, a village with a tradition of wine and glass production, you will cross the magnificent terroir of the AOC Pic Saint-Loup, between pine forests, garrigues, vineyards and charming villages. The route is not difficult in terms of distance and altitude difference, but there are some roads on which families wishing to follow the itinerary should be careful.
First you will go down to the south, to Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel, on an absolutely beautiful and wild road. Then you will take the return section through the small villages of Fontanès and Sauteyrargues, in a quiet and wine-growing area. The detour to the isolated chapel of Notre Dame d'Aleyrac is worth a look and a nice break.
