A destination of character located between the Cevennes and the Mediterranean, where three of the most beautiful appellations of the Languedoc are found: the AOP Pic Saint-Loup, the AOP Languedoc-Grés de Montpellier and the AOP Terrasses du Larzac.
The vineyards here benefit from a spectacular landscape recognised by the Fontevraud Landscape Charter. Shaped by both pastoralism and viticulture, between limestone reliefs and garrigues, they bear witness to an independent history, forged by clearers, builders and conquerors, during which the vine became the driving force of the local economy.
Remarkable viewpoints on the vineyards dot the area and tell the story of these "engarriguée" vines. A must-see during the Fascinating Weekend activities!
It is also a destination of wide open spaces favourable to outdoor activities, with a preserved environment where the essences of the garrigues are found in the wines produced there.

Created and run for 6 years by the Comité Vin Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, this event is developing and brought together, for the 7ᵉ edition last October, the other regions of France and the 6 Vignobles & Découvertes destinations that our department has.
