Heritage treasures

Welcome to you: lovers of villages with a medieval atmosphere, curious about the vestiges and tales inherited from ancient civilizations, or you, lovers of Romanesque churches!

Régis Domergue - 10

By going back in time, we invite you to salute the rich know-how of our ancestors: Will you be able to recognise the dry-stone walls that give rhythm to our landscapes?

Stop! If you are passing through Viols-en-Laval, don't miss the Village of Cambous offering a reconstruction of prehistoric houses. Run by a group of volunteers dedicated to archaeological research, enjoy the reproduction of our ancestors' way of life...

Notre Dame d'Aleyrac

The Chapel of Aleyrac

Another curiosity, more discreet, but just as seductive: La Chapelle d'Aleyrac is a jewel nestled in a natural setting. Plan a picnic in complete privacy under the shade of the plane trees of this magical place steeped in history. Armed with a book telling the legends of the area, how could you not take advantage of this setting to create your own memories and share your story with us?

Saint-Martin-de-Londres

Saint-Martin-de-Londres is a typically medieval village situated in the heart of the garrigue, only a few kilometres from the Pic Saint-Loup, the Hérault and Buèges gorges and about twenty kilometres from Montpellier.

Typically Languedoc, Saint-Martin-de-Londres offers an old village heart where the ramparts, the narrow streets lined with small houses with coloured shutters and flowered balconies, the superb stone arches all contribute to revive the work of the builders of the past.
