Concert the New Choir

The church of Valflaunès hosts one of the two closing evenings of the International Academy of Choral Music of Igor Mykhailevsky. After a week of intensive work, the singers of the Academy join The New Choir to offer a concert of great artistic intensity. On the program: Orthodox and traditional Slavic chants, as well as the Stabat Mater by Alemdar Karamanov, a monumental work of the 20th century. Under the direction of Igor Mykhailevsky, this evening promises a musical journey imbued with power, spirituality, and emotion.
