Exhibition Father Soulas
A memorial space dedicated to Father André Soulas, a local figure of the 19th century, through nearly 80 objects testifying to his life and heritage.
Inaugurated on February 28, 2026, in the presence of Bishop Norbert Turini, Archbishop of Montpellier, and Sister Bénédicte Bourdet, General Superior of the Sisters of the Alliance, this space presents nearly 80 objects that belonged to Father André Soulas, born in 1808 in Viols-le-Fort and died in 1857 in Montpellier.
An avenue in Montpellier bears his name today. A commemorative plaque evoking a miraculous catch is also installed in the church of Palavas-les-Flots.
