The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to contracts concluded between the consumer/non-professional client and the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup.
Article 1 - General Provisions

The present General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to contracts concluded between the consumer/non-professional client and the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup.
Article 1 - General Provisions

1-1 Authorized Tourist Offices, under the law of July 13, 1992, may ensure the reservation and sale of all types of services, leisure, and general interest reception in their area of operation. They facilitate the public's approach by offering a choice of services. Tourist Offices are local tourism organizations, available to service providers who are not members and who have entered into a mandate agreement with them.
1-2 The present general terms and conditions of sale are valid from 01/08/2021 and apply unless otherwise agreed.
1-3 The fact that the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup does not invoke, at any given moment, one of the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions shall not be interpreted as a waiver by itself to invoke later one of these provisions.
1-4 In the event that one of the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale is declared null or ineffective, this provision shall be deemed non-written, without affecting the validity of the other provisions, unless the declared null or ineffective provision was essential and determining.
1-5 Specific conditions of partners indicated in the description of the service and on the reservation confirmation also apply to the offer and provision of services, under conditions identical to the present General Terms and Conditions. The act of purchase and/or reservation means acceptance of the specific conditions of partners. The General Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Tourist Office prevail over those of the various partners or providers.
1-6 General provisions regarding the sale of services via the Website
The Tourist Office sells various services reserved for individuals, which shall be governed by the present general terms and conditions of sale.
The order of Services is reserved for customers who have previously read the General Terms and Conditions in their entirety and accepted them by checking the box or clicking on the hyperlink provided for this purpose on the Website. Without this acceptance, continuing the ordering process is technically impossible.
The customer must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of contracting, and using this Website in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
Unless in cases of fraud for which it bears the burden of proof, the customer is financially responsible for their steps on the Website, particularly for the use made of their User name and password. They also guarantee the veracity and accuracy of the information concerning them provided on the Website.
Any use of the Website that would be fraudulent or deemed fraudulent, which would violate the present General Terms and Conditions, authorizes the refusal of access to the
Services offered by Partners or other functionalities of the Website at any time.
Article 2 – Conclusion of the contract
2-1 It is reminded that any order of one or several services offered by the Tourist Office implies the unrestricted and unconditional adhesion of the client to the present general terms and conditions of sale, which can be consulted either at the Tourist Office counter or on the pages of the website www.tourisme-picsaintloup.fr.
2-2 Reservation
Any reservation is firm and definitive unless the right of withdrawal provided for in article 2-4 is exercised, or cancellation under the conditions provided for in article 8 of the present General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
2-2-1 Reservation methods
The reservation of services offered by the Tourist Office can be made either at the Tourist Office counter or via the website www.tourisme-picsaintloup.fr
2-2-2 Special provisions for Online Reservation
2-2-2-1 The descriptions and photographs of the services referenced by the Tourist Office, appearing on the site, are for informational purposes only. Therefore, it is advised to contact the service provider directly to obtain updated information.
If the customer does not consider themselves sufficiently informed about the characteristics of the services they wish to order, they may, prior to any order, request additional information about these services from the Tourist Office.
By placing the order, the customer explicitly acknowledges having obtained all the information desired regarding the nature and characteristics of the ordered services.
2-2-2-2 The service contract becomes firm and definitive when the customer has validated the page of their reservation on the Website which includes the summary of the ordered services and has proceeded to pay the full price of the ordered services.
As long as these conditions are not fulfilled, the service contract will not be considered as formed and the Tourist Office will not be obliged to perform the ordered services.
Once the service contract is validly formed, it can no longer be modified or canceled by the customer, subject to the exercise of their right of withdrawal under the conditions defined below in article 2-4 or the agreement of the parties and subject to the provisions of articles 8, 9, and 11.
2-3 Written confirmation
The Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup agrees to confirm to the customer, by electronic written communication or, failing that, by paper written communication, no later than before the start of the ordered services, the content of the ordered services as well as the general conditions of sale and the modalities for exercising the right of withdrawal which they benefit from, the address where they can present their complaints and the conditions related to the commercial guarantees of which
they benefit.
2-4 Right of withdrawal depending on the nature of the service
Depending on the type of service ordered, the customer benefits from or not from a right of withdrawal:
In accordance with the provisions of article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 clear days from the date on which the contract becomes firm and definitive, under the conditions defined in article 3, to exercise their right of withdrawal by mail or email addressed to:

By exercising this right of withdrawal, the customer may cancel the ordered services without any penalties.
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, the Tourist Office agrees to refund the customer as soon as possible from the date of receipt of the withdrawal letter or email.
Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code provides that the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, of services for the transport of items, car rentals, catering or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Article L. 221-2 of the Consumer Code also excludes this right for transportation of persons and tourism packages.
The Tourist Office invokes this absence of right of withdrawal and indicates that for all services falling within the scope of article L. 221-28 or L. 221-2 of the Consumer Code, the Client will not have any right of withdrawal.
Article 3 - Price
3-1 The prices displayed on the Website of the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup are shown in Euros, VAT included. Additional local taxes payable on the spot may be imposed by local authorities (tourist tax,...) and are the responsibility of the customer.
The Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup reserves the right to change the price of its services at any time and in agreement with the service provider, prior to the reservation.
3-2 Payment:
For the reservation of tourist packages, 30% of the total amount of the selected services will be payable at the time of reservation and the balance 30 days before the start of said services. Payment for the ordered services can be made by checks, bank transfer, or in cash. In case of late reservation less than 30 days before the start of the service, the total amount will be required at the time of reservation.
3-3 Specific provisions according to the reservation methods:
3-3-1 For reservations made at the counters of the Tourist Information Offices of the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup (Saint-Clément-de-Rivière and Saint Martin de Londres):
The price corresponds to the services stipulated and as described in the documents provided at the BIT counters of the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint Loup.
Payment for the ordered services can be made by credit card, cash, or holiday checks
3-3-2 For reservations made via the Website:
The prices correspond to the services stipulated and as described on the Website.
In case of modification, the price applied will be the one in effect at the date of validation of the "Cart" page of the Website. The prices displayed on the Website can be modified at any time, without notice, it being understood that such modifications will not apply to previously accepted reservations. The tourist tax is not included and must be paid to the service provider according to the number of persons and nights reserved.
Payment for the services ordered via the Website is made by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard are accepted).
3-4 Price Revision
In accordance with article L. 211-12 of the tourism code, the price may thus be modified upwards or downwards after validation of the reservation to take into account the evolution:
1° Of the price of passenger transport resulting from the cost of fuel or other sources of energy;
2° Of the level of taxes or levies on travel services included in the contract, imposed by a third party that does not participate directly in the execution of the contract, including tourist taxes, landing or boarding taxes and disembarkation in ports and airports; where
3° Of the exchange rates related to the contract.
The possible application of a price increase under the previous paragraph will be clearly and understandably notified to the Client and accompanied by a justification and a calculation, on a durable medium, no later than twenty days before the start of the services.
Conversely, the Client has the right to a price reduction corresponding to any decrease in the costs mentioned in 1°, 2°, and 3°, which occurs after the conclusion of the contract and before the start of the trip or stay.
In case of price decrease, the organizer or retailer has the right to deduct its actual administrative expenses from the amount due to the traveler. At the request of the traveler, the organizer or retailer provides proof of these administrative expenses.
If the increase exceeds 8% of the total package price or travel service, the traveler may accept the proposed modification, or request termination of the contract without paying termination fees and receive a refund of all payments already made.
Article 4- Conditions for the execution of services
4-1 The duration of each service is that stipulated at the Tourist Office counter or on the Website.
The customer cannot, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the service.
For the proper execution of certain services, the customer must present themselves on the specified day at the mentioned times or directly contact the service provider.
4-2 Special provisions according to the ordered services
4-2-1 Tourist products, transport, and package / tourist packages:
The indicated schedules must be respected to guarantee the smooth progress of the service.
In case of delay and without any manifestation from the customer regarding their arrival time, the reservation is guaranteed at the discretion of the service provider. In case of obligation by the service provider not to wait for late customers, a rescheduling of the activity will be proposed to the customer. If no alternate date can be found, the customer is solely responsible for their delay and a penalty of 100% of the amount of the service will be charged.
It may happen that certain activities offered by the Service Providers and indicated in the description on the Site, are canceled notably for climatic reasons, in cases of exceptional and unavoidable circumstances, during off-season stays, or when the required number of participants for the realization of the activity is not reached. The cancellation of any activity due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances shall not, in any event, entail any compensation for the customer from the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup.
4-2-3 Ticketing:
In case the Tourist Office holds a ticket office for shows or activities on behalf of a third party, the specific conditions of that third party apply.
The confirmation document must be presented upon arrival at the service provider. This document will be exchanged for a ticket.
REMINDER: Please consult the opening days and hours of establishments.
The ordered tickets are not sent by mail except in specific cases for certain providers. In this case, it is stipulated in the product description and on the reservation that the or the ticket(s) are sent to the delivery address indicated by the User during their order. The delivery times indicated during the order are average times corresponding to processing and delivery times to France metropolitan or abroad. If delivery of the tickets is rendered impossible due to an error by the User in entering their details or due to their failure to indicate the existence of an intercom or digicode, neither the concerned Provider(s) nor the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup can be held responsible.
Article 5 – Supplements and modifications by the client
Any service not provided in the package must be paid on the spot. The customer cannot, unless prior written agreement from the Tourist Office, modify the course of their stay. Unaccepted modification fees remain fully the responsibility of the customer. In case of non-use, exchange vouchers will not be refunded.
Article 6 – Assignment of the contract by the client
The customer may assign their contract to an assignee who fulfills the same conditions as they do to carry out the service. In this case, the customer is obliged to inform the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup of their decision by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, no later than 7 days before the start of the service.
The assignment of the contract must be carried out at cost price.
The assignor and the assignee are jointly and severally responsible to the seller for the payment of the balance of the price as well as for any additional costs incurred by this assignment.
Article 7 - Modification by the Tourist Office of a substantial element of the contract
When, before the scheduled date of the start of the service, the Tourist Office is compelled to make a modification to one of the essential elements of the contract, the customer may, without prejudice to the remedies for damages potentially suffered, and after having been informed by the Tourist Office by any means:
- either terminate their contract and obtain, without penalties, a refund of the amounts paid.
- or accept the modification or the substitution of services proposed by the Tourist Office, an amendment to the contract specifying the modifications made being then signed by both parties. If the substituted service is cheaper than the ordered service, the excess payment will be refunded to the customer before the start of the service.
The Tourist Office has the possibility to unilaterally modify the clauses of the Contract after its conclusion and before the beginning of the tourist service, and this without the Client being able to oppose, provided that the modification is minor and that the Client is informed of it as soon as possible in a clear, understandable, and apparent manner on a durable medium.
Article 8 - Cancellation by the customer
8-1 Any cancellation must be notified either via the website www.tourisme-picsaintloup.fr by indicating the reservation number, or by directly contacting the Tourist Office reception at
+33 4 48 20 05 28, or by mail or email contact@tourisme-picsaintloup.fr from Monday to Friday.
8-2 For reservations of guided tours, tickets, products, tourist services
For entries to tourist sites, tickets are valid for one year from the date of reservation. They are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
For guided tours organized by the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup, if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the start of the service, no refund or postponement will be made.
For concerts/museums/shows/excursions, tickets are neither returned nor exchanged, except for cancellation of the event.
For activities (creative workshops, sports, relaxation…), if the cancellation occurs 72 hours prior, the tourist office commits to refund the registration fees. If the cancellation occurs less than 72 hours prior, no refund will be made.
8-3 For reservations of Wine & Flavors walks.
For Wine & Flavors walks organized by the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup, if the cancellation occurs on the Friday (before 12h) before the walk, the Tourist Office commits to refund the registration fees. If the cancellation occurs on the Friday before the walk (after 12h), no refund or postponement will be made.
8-4 For reservations of packages and/or tourist packages
In case of total or partial cancellation by the customer, the Tourist Office will apply penalties to the customer as follows:
* If the total or partial cancellation occurs at least 72 hours before the start of the service (the time taken into account is set at 12h00 on the scheduled arrival day), no penalties are due and the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup will reimburse the client for the amounts received in payment for the canceled services, except for specific conditions specified in the description of the establishment and on the reservation confirmation.
* If the total or partial cancellation occurs less than 72 hours before the start of the service, no refunds will be made
* If a last minute reservation is made (less than 72 hours before the date of arrival), no refunds will be made.
In general, an early departure or a late arrival will not give rise to any refund.
In case of non-presentation of the customer, and without prior cancellation (under the conditions described above), no refund will be made.
In all cases, release fees will not be due if the contract is terminated due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances occurring at the place of destination or in immediate proximity to it and having significant consequences on the execution of the contract. In this case, the Tourist Office will proceed to a full refund of the payments made, without however generating any additional compensation.
Article 9 – Cancellation by the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup
The Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup has the option to cancel the reservation without penalty before the start of the tourist service in the following two cases:
If the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup is prevented from providing the tourist service due to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances and if the cancellation occurs as soon as possible before the start of the tourist service.
In the above-mentioned cases, the customer is entitled to a full refund of the payments made but not to additional compensation for any damage potentially suffered.
The Tourist Office shall also not be liable for additional indemnification if the termination of the contract occurs because the number of participants registered for the trip or stay or activity is less than the minimum number indicated in the contract. In this case, the Tourist Office notifies the Client by email or by mail of the termination of the contract within the timeframe set by the contract, according to the following schedule:
- Twenty days before the start of the trip or stay or activity in the case of trips lasting more than six days;
- Seven days before the start of the trip or stay or activity in the case of trips lasting from two to six days;
- Forty-eight hours before the start of the trip or stay or activity in the case of trips not lasting more than two days.
In all other cases, the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup that unilaterally cancels a reserved tourist service firmly and definitively owes the customer not only the immediate reimbursement of the amounts paid by the customer for this reservation but also a compensation corresponding to the penalty that would have been due by the customer if the cancellation had occurred on their part on the same date.
These provisions do not apply when a friendly agreement is concluded for the purpose of accepting by the customer a substituted service proposed by the Tourist Office.
9-1 For reservations of Wine & Flavors walks.
If the cancellation of the walk is due to the Tourist Office, for meteorological reasons (closure of the massifs due to fire risks), administrative reasons, or in case of an insufficient number of participants, we will offer another date. If an alternate date is not possible, the Tourist Office commits to refund the registration fees for the walk.
Article 10 – Liability and legal guarantee of conformity
10-1 The Tourist Office that offers services to a client is the sole interlocutor of this client and is responsible for the execution of the ordered services and the obligations arising from the present conditions of sale.
10-2 The programs of the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup depend on the days and hours of opening of the various monuments, museums, and establishments.
10-3 Except for the sale of boutique products and the services it provides itself, the Tourist Office is fully responsible for the tourist services contracted in the framework of the present general conditions of sale.
The Tourist Office may however be exempt from all or part of its liability by providing proof that the damage is attributable either to the Client, or to a third party unrelated to the provision of travel services included in the contract, or to exceptional and unavoidable circumstances.
The organizer and the retailer are responsible for the proper execution of all travel services included in the contract in accordance with article L. 211-16.
In accordance with article L 211-17, IV of the tourism code, the amount of any damages that the Tourist Office may be ordered to pay to the Client for any reason whatsoever will be limited to three times the total price excluding taxes of the services, except for bodily injuries and damages caused intentionally or by negligence.
10-4 In no case shall the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup be liable if these contracts are used by third parties or for purposes other than tourism.
Likewise, the Tourist Office is in no way responsible for the loss, theft, or deterioration of clients' property during activities or travels. Clients are placed under their own responsibility for observance of safety rules and respect for regulations. Minors are placed under the responsibility of their parents or guardians. Any inappropriate behavior may lead to refusal of service or immediate expulsion during the visit or tour.
The Tourist Office is the sole guarantor of the conformity of the services to the contract. The non-professional or consumer Client has the possibility to make a request under the legal guarantee of conformity provided for in articles L. 217-11 et seq. of the Consumer Code and articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code.
The consumer or non-professional Client must communicate to the Tourist Office any defects and/or conformity issues as soon as possible after the provision of services, in accordance with article L. 211-16 II of the tourism code. This communication must be made, with supporting documents, preferably within 7 days following the end of the services, so that the Tourist Office can investigate the disturbance and assess the reality of the alleged defects effectively and in the interest of both parties.
The detected defects and/or issues will lead to rectification, substitution, price reduction, or refund as soon as possible, considering the importance of the non-conformity and the value of the concerned travel services.
In case the Tourist Office proposes a replacement service or a price reduction, the traveler can only refuse the other proposed services if they are not comparable to what was planned in the contract or if the price reduction granted is not appropriate.
The guarantee of the Tourist Office is limited to the refund of the services actually paid by the consumer or non-professional Client and the Tourist Office cannot be held liable or at fault for any delay or failure to perform due to the occurrence of a case of force majeure or exceptional or unavoidable circumstances.
According to article R 211-6, 4° of the tourism code, the Client can quickly contact the Tourist Office using the contact details mentioned in the section "General Provisions" of the present general terms and conditions of sale, to communicate with them effectively, request assistance if the Client is in difficulty, or complain about any non-conformity observed during the execution of the trip or stay.
Article 11 - Exceptional and unavoidable circumstances
Any event that creates a situation beyond the control of the professional and the traveler and whose consequences could not have been avoided even if all measures had been taken preventing the normal execution of their obligations, is considered as causes for exemption from the obligations of the parties and entail their suspension.
Article 12 - Personal data
12-1 Collected data
In the context of its activity of selling packages and tourist services, the Tourist Office implements and operates processing of personal data relating to clients and beneficiaries.
In this respect, the Tourist Office collects the following personal data: name, first name - age - postal address - email - phone number, payment method.
12-2 Purpose pursued
The collection of these personal data is essential for contractual execution, and in case of refusal to communicate them, the client exposes themselves to difficulties in executing the service for which the Tourist Office will not be liable.
These personal data are collected solely for the purpose of managing the clientele within the framework of the conclusion of the contract and its execution, based on the client's consent. They are only used for the purposes to which the Client has consented.
More specifically, the purposes are as follows:
- Identification of persons using and/or reserving the services
- Formalization of the contractual relationship
- Execution of the reserved services with the Tourist Office
- Contract and reservation management (notably room allocation, managing movements)
- Communication with partners for the execution of services by the relevant partners
- Accounting notably client account management and follow-up on client relations
- Handling of operations relating to client management
- Commercial communications and prospecting, promotion.
12-3 Authorized persons to access the data
The persons authorized to access the data collected within the Tourist Office are: the employees of the Tourist Office and its partners involved in the services requested by the client, and, if applicable, the subcontractors of the Tourist Office participating in the execution and/or administration of the services and being required to intervene in this capacity on the processing, with it being specified that in such a hypothesis, whether they are partners or subcontractors, this is done in compliance with the regulations in force.
12-4 Data retention
These personal data collected are kept for the legal retention period relating to the purpose of processing and for a maximum of 5 years.
The personal data relating to the client's credit card is kept exclusively during the time necessary for the execution of the transaction.
The personal data relating to a prospect who does not conclude a reservation contract with the Tourist Office are kept for a period of 3 years from their collection.
The personal data required for the dispatch of the newsletter are kept for as long as the client does not unsubscribe.
The Tourist Office implements organizational, technical, software, and physical measures regarding digital security to protect personal data against alterations, destructions, and unauthorized access. However, it should be noted that the Internet is not a completely secure environment and the Tourist Office cannot guarantee the security of the transmission or storage of information on the Internet.
12-5 Rights of the holder of the collected data
In accordance with the applicable regulations regarding personal data, each user has the right of inquiry, access, modification, opposition, and rectification, for legitimate reasons, to the collection and processing of their personal data. It is possible to request that these data be rectified, completed, clarified, updated, or erased.
These rights can be exercised by writing a signed letter to the data processing manager, at the Tourist Office, to Romain Cadène - rcadene@tourisme-picsaintloup.com or Pascal Vallet pvallet@tourisme-picsaintloup.com.
At any time, the Client can file a complaint with the CNIL according to the procedures indicated on its website (https://www.cnil/fr).
12-6 Modification of the clause
The Tourist Office reserves the right to make any modifications to this clause regarding the protection of personal data at any time. If a modification is made to this personal data protection clause, the Tourist Office agrees to publish the new version on its site, and will also inform users of the modification by email, at least 15 days before the effective date.
12-7 Opposition to telephone solicitation
You have the option to sign up for the opposition list to telephone solicitation on the following website: http://www.bloctel.gouv.fr/.
Article 13 – Insurance - Guarantees
The Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup has taken out a civil liability insurance policy for travel organizers with MAIF, Vivaldi Residence 9 Rue du Maréchal Foch, 79018 NIORT CEDEX 9, as well as a financial guarantee from the Professional Solidarity Association of Tourism (APST), to cover the consequences of the civil liability it could incur in its capacity as an authorized local tourism organization for marketing products.
The Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup draws the client's attention to the possibility of taking out an insurance policy with an organization of their choice, covering the consequences of a cancellation resulting from certain causes. The client is responsible for all damages resulting from their actions, they are encouraged to take out a civil liability insurance policy.
Article 14 - Disputes / Complaints
14-1 Any complaint related to a service delivered under the responsibility of the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup within the framework of the execution of the stay contract concluded with the client must be formulated to the Tourist Office of Grand Pic Saint-Loup during the stay, or sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to the Tourist Office, preferably within 10 days following the date of execution of the service, at the following address:

14-2 In case of a complaint, the parties will attempt to reach an amicable agreement.
The Client may resort to conventional mediation, notably with the Commission for Consumer Mediation or with existing sector-specific mediation bodies, or any alternative dispute resolution method (conciliation, for example) in case of dispute.
The Client can thus contact the Tourism and Travel Mediator at the following site: https://www.mtv.travel/ or at MTV Mediation tourism travel, BP 80 303 - 75 823 Paris Cedex 17 in the case where the response provided by the Tourist Office to the client regarding their complaint is deemed insufficient or has remained unanswered after 60 days.
14-3 In case of disputes, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law, without however depriving the consumer of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
Article 15 – Accessibility
Despite all our efforts, some services are not accessible to persons with reduced mobility. This includes pedestrian hikes, cycling with tastings of wines and local products, and most tourist packages. A specific tourist package accessible to persons with reduced mobility is provided. We invite you to inquire in case of difficulties in movement.
Article 16 – Minor Children
When minors, unaccompanied by a parent or another authorized person, travel on the basis of a contract for tourist services including accommodation, the Tourist Office must communicate information allowing to establish direct contact with the minor or the responsible person of the minor at the minor's place of stay.
Article 17 – Assistance to the traveler
The Tourist Office is responsible for the proper execution of the services provided under the contract. In this context, if the Client is faced with difficulties, the Tourist Office will provide appropriate assistance as soon as possible, depending on the circumstances of the case.
The Tourist Office shall be entitled to charge a reasonable fee for this assistance if this difficulty is caused intentionally by the traveler or by their negligence. The amount charged shall not exceed the actual costs incurred by the organizer or retailer.
Article 18 – Linked travel services
If, after choosing a travel service and paying for it, you reserve additional travel services for your trip or vacation stay through the Tourist Office, you will NOT benefit from the rights applicable to packages under Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and article L.211-2 of the tourism code.
However, if you reserve additional travel services during the same visit or with the same contact with the Tourist Office, the travel services will form part of a linked travel service.
In this case, the Tourist Office has, as required by EU law, protection in place to refund the amounts you have paid to it for services that have not been provided due to its insolvency.
The Tourist Office has taken out protection against insolvency with APST, 15 avenue Carnot – 75017 Paris. Travelers can contact this entity if travel services are refused to them due to the insolvency of the Tourist Office.
Note: this protection against insolvency does not apply to contracts concluded with parties other than the Tourist Office that can be executed despite the insolvency of the Tourist Office.
