Writer and painter, Claire Bruguière explores, through words as well as colors, the same intimate territory: that of freedom, nature, and the living. Horses have always galloped in her imagination. Their harmonious aesthetics, their sensitivity at the surface, their lightness in movements nourish her gaze and her writing. The horse becomes under her pen as well as on her canvases much more than a subject: it embodies a relationship with the world, an aspiration for space, for impulse, and for independence.
