The collective of Assas artists organizes, for the fourth consecutive year, "The Caladesques", an exhibition of paintings, drawings, and photographs presented in the Roman church of Saint-Martial in Assas, on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20.
This year, the guest of honor will be David Rycroft, a painter of international renown. Eighteen other artists from Assas and the region will also present their works to the public. From figurative to abstract, from surrealism to portraits and life scenes, the exhibition will offer a great diversity of artistic universes.

In front of the church, a path of books will offer several reading spaces. Visitors will be able to leave for free with books of their choice.
The opening will take place on Saturday the 19th at 12:00 PM, with the Assas choir.

The public prize will be awarded on Sunday the 20th at 12:00 PM. On this occasion, the vocal group Lo Cocut will perform traditional Occitan songs on the church's forecourt.
The association Jeu de mots SBS will also offer a series of poems inspired by the exhibited works, during roaming readings organized with each artist.
After the visit, the public will be able to vote to designate their favorite artist.
