Centre de Vol à Voile Montpellier Pic Saint-Loup is a not-for-profit gliding organisation founded in 1983 and accredited "Jeunesse et Sports" (youth and sports) by the French civil aviation authority. Its purpose is to practise gliding in all its forms – thermal flying, slope soaring, wave flying, flight school, cross-country circuit flying, winch launching, mountain flying and glider aerobatics – continuously throughout the year thanks to unique local air currents.
