Château d'Assas

The Château d'Assas was built during the 1750-1760 decades, probably by Jean-Antoine Giral, the Montpellier architect, the author of the anatomy amphitheater. Some elements (wrought iron balconies) may have come from the Château de la Mosson. The fortified enclosure, flanked by round towers, dates from the end of the 16th century.
