Exhibition Oswald Olivato

Inspired by pathways, undergrowth, and fleetingly glimpsed places, the artist's work explores the landscape as a trace, a memory, or a sensation that surfaces. Each work evokes an inner space where fragments of light, silence, and memory intertwine.

Matter occupies a central place in this artistic approach. Made from a lime plaster combined with natural pigments, the surfaces are carved, erased, and then reworked to reveal vibrant and organic textures. The shapes gradually emerge in a subtle balance between appearance and erasure.

This exhibition offers a contemplative experience where the gaze is invited to wander, to freely explore sensitive landscapes situated on the border of the real and the imaginary.
