FULL - Wine & Astro Walk - Domaine de Roussières

Join us for an evening to explore the landscapes of the hinterland and this rich terroir narrated by one of our guides specialized in oenology, during our friendly walks in small groups. Around the departmental Domaine de Roussières (Viols-en-Laval), our guides will take you on traditional pastoral paths (tracks, paths, dry stone walls...) for a wine tasting and a commented observation of the sky, at nightfall when darkness... and magic settles in!

A journey through space and time to marvel at the natural wonders that science has unveiled from Antiquity to the present day, which lie right before our eyes, just look up.
You will better understand what shooting stars are and where they come from, why the shepherd's star is not a star, how to estimate the age of a star with the naked eye, what is the difference between a star and a planet, what an exoplanet is... and much more!

All our walks allow you to discover 4 different wines and the dominant appellations of the visited site: AOP Pic Saint Loup, AOP Terrasses du Larzac, AOP Languedoc, AOP Grès de Montpellier, and IGP Saint Guilhem-le-Désert, IGP Pays d'Oc.
