On the occasion of the Heritage Night, the Flaugergues castle proposes you an exceptional nighttime visit around the theme: "Flaugergues, 1942-1972, during the time of René and Jacqueline de Saizieu"
After a welcome drink at the cellar, set off to discover the history of the castle through the fate of René and Jacqueline de Saizieu.
This visit will make you relive the adventurous life of a young Saint-Cyr soldier in the Sahara during the interwar period, the years of captivity in Germany during World War II, as the castle became a Luftwaffe garrison between 1942 and 1944, and the rebirth of the estate starting in 1946.
As an exceptional feature, the Tree of Life room will be accessible to the public during this evening.
A unique stroll through the history of the Flaugergues castle and Montpellier heritage, in the light of the night.
