To help Valère abduct Lucile, Sganarelle pretends to be a learned doctor. Unmasked by Gorgibus and Gros-René, he bets everything on a new deception: the fake doctor would have a not very clever twin... But everything complicates when Gorgibus wishes to meet both brothers... together...

The Flying Doctor is a dazzling concentration of theatricality. The extreme simplicity of the scenic device, which uses object theatre, directly places the responsibility for the burlesque charge on the six actors, reinforced here by costumes created on the spot by the performers themselves. Opening wide the doors to a joyous but strictly controlled fantasy, this production puts the entire troupe into play in an exercise of pure virtuosity.
