The International Guitar Festival - Gaëlle Buswel
A clever mix of Folk, Pop, blues, rock, a devastating roots sound that seduces big names of rock and pop. ZZ TOP asked her to open for them 4 times, but also -M-, Ringo Starr at the Olympia, John Fogerty at the Zenith in Paris, Beth Hart, Jonny Lang, UB40, Zucchero (5 dates), DEEPPURPLE… and a tour of 14 Zeniths alone as the opening act for The Dire Straits Experience.
Engaged voice and sharp guitars, of a sensitive softness and an exalted rage, concerts always filled with fervor, Gaëlle Buswel has managed to take her place in the world of blues rock. She is the French artist who has played with the biggest names in blues and pop.
An independent career since 2011. A generous personality, of an absolute naturalness first. The kind of person you want to follow to the ends of the earth when she tells you her stories in music. A loyal audience, a sense of stage that makes the biggest rock stars pale afterwards. When she grabs her microphone, it’s a flood of pure energy that ignites the stage and a powerful voice that seems unbreakable. At her beginnings in 2011, Gaëlle was compared to Joan Baez, as she played in detention centers, children’s hospitals, on the subway, and frequented all the café-concerts in France and England with her guitar. An artist who built herself alone, who, starting from nothing found herself playing with the greatest.
