This exceptional opening of the Roman bridge site in Saint-Jean-de-Cuculles invites curious eyes to discover one of the oldest examples of Roman bridges in Occitanie.

The interest of this endangered structure is historical, artistic, and architectural. Art historian Caroline Andary-Millot offers a guided tour of the building, the content of which is based on archival research primarily from the departmental archives of Hérault.

The association Chemin faisant aims to showcase this unknown rural heritage that belongs to a Roman architectural ensemble including the church and the priory, which are in the same architectural style.
