Departing from the tram station "Occitanie", in Montpellier :
Bus line 608 allows for the following hikes:
The bus line 608 allows for the following hikes:
- The Lèque forest starting from the "Mairie" stop in Matelles (1 minute walk from the start of the hike).
- The Sauzet Trail starting from the "Emb. de Viols" stop in Mas-de-Londres ("Carpooling and hiking parking D113" on Google Maps), at the roundabout before Viols-en-Laval on the D113 (about 8 minutes walk from the start of the hike). GPS point near the start of the hike: here !
- The Drailles starting from the "Plan de l'Eglise" stop in Viols-le-Fort, just next to the parking lot where the hike begins (1 minute walk).
- The Ravin des Arcs starting from the stop "Mascla" in Notre-Dame-de-Londres (about 7 minutes walk from the start of the hike). On Google Maps, indicate "Le Ravin Des Arcs - Hiking Trail, D986").
- The climb of Pic Saint-Loup starting from the "Centre" stop in Mas-de-Londres (about 1h30 walk from the start of the hike). Join the "presbytery path" and follow the route of the GRP "Tour of the villages of the Pic".
- The climb of Pic Saint-Loup starting from the "School" or "PEM" stop in St-Martin-de-Londres. Detailed Google Maps route: here (about 1h45 from the start of the hike).
- The climb of Pic Saint-Loup starting from Montpellier and St-Martin-de-Londres only from April 18 to June 28, 2026 thanks to the shuttle "Pic Saint-Loup Hike"* (more information at the bottom of this page).

- The oenorando "Between Montpellier Gravel and Pic Saint-Loup" starting from the "Cave Cooperative" stop in Assas (2 minutes walk from the start of the hike).
- The Charbonnières Trail starting from the "Route des Aires" stop in Sainte-Croix-de-Quintillargues (1 minute walk from the start of the hike).
- The Fontanaride starting from the "Rue des Hirondelles" bus stop (7 minutes walk from the start of the hike).

- The climb of Pic Saint-Loup starting from the "Garonne" stop in Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers (5-hour round trip hike instead of 2h30 starting from Cazevieille): walk towards old Saint-Mathieu to catch the White and Red markings (GR60) or Yellow and Red (GRP) that will lead you to the summit passing near the Château de Montferrand.
- Note: the bus line 615 schedules do not allow for the hike of the Taillade ridge starting from Claret with return in the same day.
Note: the bus line 616 schedules do not allow for the hike from Arnède to Caravette starting from Murles with return in the same day
No public transport exists to Ferrières-les-Verreries, Saint-Jean-de-Buègues or Pégairolles-de-Buègues.
A shuttle "Pic Saint-Loup Hike" - in service from April 18 to June 28, 2026.
This shuttle is implemented in continuation of line 608 and connects Montpellier ("Occitanie" tram station) to Cazevieille ("Mairie" stop), passing through Saint-Martin-de-Londres ("PEM" stop, opposite the Bakery La Tour, at the roundabout of La Gloriette).
The Pic Saint-Loup Shuttle - how to use it:
It will operate from Saturday, April 18 to June 28, 2026 as follows:
- Every day during the spring holidays of zone C (from Saturday, April 18 to Sunday, May 3 inclusive),
- Every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, June 28 inclusive,
- Every public holiday (except May 1),
- On Friday, May 15 (school holiday hours).
