Departmental Domain of Mas Neuf

Perched at 408 meters above sea level, Mas Neuf invites you on a journey between sky, earth... and the memory of the first inhabitants.

Dominating an exceptional panorama that stretches from the Gardiole massif to Mont Ventoux, the site of Mas Neuf offers a spectacular 360° view thanks to its orientation table. This rocky spur also houses the remains of a chalcolithic village dating back approximately 2,300 years before our era. Archaeological research has revealed the organization of dry stone habitats, allowing for a better understanding of the life and layout of the first communities established on this promontory.

This itinerary suggests access to the viewpoint through the departmental domain. Unmarked, it can be freely traversed, under the responsibility of each individual.
