The Tour of Puech des Mourgues - Cyclo Loop No. 14
Between garrigues, pine forests, and vineyards, this loop reveals all the richness of the landscapes of Pic Saint-Loup.
Starting from Vacquières, a village of viticultural tradition and glassworks, you will traverse the magnificent terroir of the AOC Pic Saint-Loup, among pine forests, garrigues, vineyards, and charming villages. The route is not difficult in terms of distance and elevation, but it crosses some roads where families wishing to undertake the itinerary should be cautious.
You will first head south towards Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel, along an absolutely magnificent and wild road. You will then take the return section through the small villages of Fontanès and Sauteyrargues, in a calm and viticultural area. The detour by the isolated chapel of Notre Dame d'Aleyrac will be worth the sight and a lovely pause.
