The Buèges Valley
Located southwest of Ganges, this charming valley enchants lovers of heritage and wide open spaces. Nestled between the Séranne massif and the Causse de la Selle, it bears witness to human ingenuity in the face of an arid environment, where the water of the Buèges, a tributary of the Hérault, has always been precious.
Dams, bridges, mills, norias, and irrigation canals punctuate this spectacular territory, revealing an ancient know-how. The traces of the medieval past are still well present, giving the valley a unique atmosphere, between nature and history.
