The Ravine of Arcs

Near Saint-Martin-de-Londres, the ravine of Arcs is a narrow canyon about 10 km long, carved by the intermittent river of Lamalou. Over the centuries, its waters have shaped superb natural arches, as well as giant potholes, waterfalls, and true stone bridges.

Caution is advised: fords may become impassable in case of heavy rains, and swimming is prohibited there.

For hiking, follow the yellow markings (PR®) specific to the walk of the ravine of Arcs, without confusing it with the old path of GR60, which is now obsolete.
