The Source of Buèges
The Source of Buèges is an enchanting place, a true gem of nature where the clear water, lush vegetation, and surrounding calm invite relaxation. A small tributary of the Hérault, 13 km long, the Buèges originates here in a beautiful basin of clear water, after an underground journey through the limestone terrain of Larzac. Picnic tables allow you to enjoy the site with family or friends, and nearby hiking trails offer beautiful natural discoveries. Swimming is prohibited at the source, but it is possible further downstream of the river.
