In love with my native Languedoc and the multiple treasures it holds, I have been working since 2015 to showcase it every day through my various professional projects, at the crossroads of oenotourism and nature outings.
Who is hiding behind "Sauvageonne" ?
Originally from and in love with the region, I have always had at heart to make it discoverable to as many people as possible! Seeing the eyes sparkle of those who bite into a lucque, taste a pélardon, or dip their lips into a glass of Pic-Saint-Loup for the first time is priceless!
A great lover of wine, gastronomy, and hiking, as greedy as my territory, I wanted to create a professional activity that resembles me, where sharing and transmission are the key words. At the crossroads of naturalist walks, œnotourism, and cooking workshops, I offer various workshops that allow you to appreciate the great richness of the Grand Pic Saint-Loup territory.
What is your connection to the Grand Pic Saint-Loup territory and what makes it unique in your eyes ?
Attracted for many years by this territory steeped in legends and filled with beautiful hikes, I finally settled here 2 years ago! Its raw and wild garrigue, its mineral causses, this omnipresent white limestone, and this Pic, like an anchor point in the landscape, reminding us that we are at home, enchants me daily.
A territory sculpted by the sun and shaped by its farmers, which takes time to tame, but which has offered me unique encounters and moments!
A few words about the walks around Pic Saint-Loup that you lead ?
Having at heart to combine the good and the beautiful, I lead various workshops around the discovery of the wine-growing world (vineyard walks, tasting initiations, food & wine pairings...), but also edible wild plants.
Strolling along verdant paths, pecking some fragrant flowers, and delighting in their sweet nectar, pairing their flavors with the great diversity of wines that make our terroir... and taking you with me!
Your favorite spot in the territory
The balconies of Hortus, without hesitation! I love the breathtaking views it offers over the vineyard and the ruins of the Château de Viviourès. Rediscovering my childhood spirit by exploring hidden corners and the raw luminosity reflected by the limestone cliffs. An inexhaustible playground for exploration!
