Domaine Massillan

A family vineyard of the Reboul family for seven generations, Domaine Massillan is located in Hérault, between the Mediterranean and Pic Saint Loup (about ten km northeast of Montpellier).

The thirty hectares of vines extend over clay-limestone soils, under the Mediterranean and continental influences that give the estate's wines, labeled IGP Saint-Guilhem le désert and Pays d'Oc, Val de Montferrand in organic farming, all their personality.

Like an oasis surrounded by vines, the estate, oriented towards nature with its ammonite symbol, is part of a farming approach preserving biodiversity and the estate adopts agro-ecological measures.

Did you know: having taken over the family property with his father 15 years ago, Guillaume first wanted to reconnect with wine production, which had previously been delegated to a cooperative, and then integrate agro-environmental measures such as eliminating chemical inputs. Today, a new project is developing: the sowing of plant species favoring the establishment of auxiliaries for the crops, slowing down the onslaught of the wind and creating a pleasant atmosphere.
