Mas Gourdou
The property, in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup appellation in the municipality of Valflaunès, has been in the family since the French Revolution.
The vines are planted on small plots, at the foot of the Hortus, at 150 meters altitude, amidst green oak forests, Aleppo pines, surrounded by Mediterranean plants (rosemary, thyme, strawberry tree, lavender) that contribute to the aromas of the wines. A southeast exposure is particularly favorable to them.
The grape variety consists mainly of syrah, grenache noir and grenache blanc, mourvèdre, roussane and marsanne.
