The Grand Pic Saint-Loup offers several picnic areas in a natural setting, perfect for relaxing after a walk or a hike. These landscaped spaces, located in villages such as Assas, Cazevieille, and Claret, are equipped with tables and benches to enjoy a meal outdoors.
Some areas have self-service barbecues and playgrounds for children, making them ideal for family outings. The locations are often shaded and close to hiking trails, allowing you to discover the region while resting.

Cazevieille
- Picnic possible in the parking lot of Pic Saint-Loup.
- Picnic table under a large oak tree by the D113 between the roundabout of Viols and the village of Cazevieille at the start of the hike from Sauzet.
Claret
- Picnic tables at the orientation table (5504F Chemin des Capellières or "Claret Orientation Table" on Google Maps).
Combaillaux
- Shady table at the south entrance of Combaillaux, at the place called Nounel
- Playground: Place aux jeunes.
- Other facilities in the municipality: Tennis (chemin des sports), boulodromes (place aux jeunes, les sajolles...)
Murles
- Parking of the Church, at the priory
Mas-de-Londres
- Place called les Baronnes
Pégairolles-de-Buèges
- Picnic tables, self-service barbecue, and shaded parking at Méjanel, at the Source of the Buèges.
However, the proximity to the river prohibits swimming (protected site).
Saint-Martin-de-Londres
- "Intergenerational" park near the fire station with drinking water and children's playground / skate park.
- Green area in front of the primary school and in front of the old stadium (chemin de la pairie).
Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel
- Picnic tables at the children's playground on rue du Claud de la Dame
- Second picnic area near the old sheepfold, at the end of rue du boucarlou.
Saint-Clément-de-Rivière
- Aqueduct Park, Avenue de la Clastre.
- Pic Natura Park (multiple tables behind the Tourist Office, next to the children's playground and sports equipment) and in the departmental domain of the wood of Saint Sauveur.
