CHAP: Humanist Altruistic Popular Collective
For 19 years, the CHAP Festival has created an atypical, unique, and humanistic moment by mixing all arts through concerts, performances, parades, or workshops under the big tops of Viols-le-Fort. Friends, artists, volunteers, and professionals engage for 10 days to share dreams, joy, and celebration.
A human and cultural interlude where people from Viols and neighboring areas dance, sing, stocking up on Love for the bad days. Always at low prices, our programming is rich, varied, mixed, local, and social.
The values of CHAP are:
- The creation and realization of cultural events of all types, with special attention to quality, usefulness, and originality
- The promotion of socio-cultural exchanges, social and intergenerational diversity, and eco-citizenship
- A tool for support and assistance to social and cultural animation initiatives, both local and international
- The provision of its skills, ideas, and networks
- A collective where we cultivate the pleasure of imagining, creating, and (making) living together
- And we intend to keep going for a long time yet!
