The festival « I have an appointment with you » is a musical event organized by the association of the same name, dedicated to celebrating the world of Georges Brassens and French chanson. It takes place in Saint-Gély-du-Fesc, around the Scène en Grand Pic Saint-Loup
On the program, very varied concerts and shows: artists reinterpret Brassens in their personal styles — jazz, lyrical, swing —, each bringing their own perspective to his songs. There are also readings, moments of sharing, and a strong creative dimension, highlighting the richness of the texts and melodies
The festival also promotes the discovery of new talents: it organizes the “Songs of the Pic” competition, open to songwriters, to highlight today’s creation around lyric-driven songs.
