La Devèze
The La Devèze campsite, located in Montoulieu in the Basses Cévennes, offers a natural, calm, and family-friendly environment in a 200-hectare estate. Nestled between the Cévennes and the Mediterranean, it benefits from a preserved setting with an exceptional view of the Aigoual massif and the Séranne mountain. Holidaymakers can enjoy large pitches, shaded or sunny, suitable for tents, caravans, and camper vans, in a friendly atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The campsite provides an infinity pool with a panoramic view, hiking trails, and mountain biking routes allowing visitors to discover the Cévennes landscapes. Guests can also participate in activities exploring the area, admire the sunsets, or taste local products offered in the cellar of the neighboring estate. The goal is to offer an authentic experience, away from urban bustle, where contact with nature is privileged. The site also relies on the wealth of its heritage with the Mas de la Devèze, an old agricultural stone building and slate, restored in respect of traditional techniques.
Environmentally responsible practices
Very committed to environmental protection, the campsite adopts many eco-responsible practices. Reasonable maintenance of natural spaces enhances biodiversity and limits fire risks. No chemical products are used, and several arrangements, such as beehives, nesting boxes, or wildlife-friendly fences, help preserve local species. Eco-grazing managed by Aubrac cows contributes to the natural maintenance of green spaces. The campsite also encourages water and energy savings, waste sorting, and the consumption of local products.
