The AOP Grès de Montpellier Winegrowers

Between Sea and Mountain, the vines of Grès de Montpellier thrive in this typically Mediterranean climate. A climate tempered by maritime influences and a thermal amplitude that allows for a gentle ripening of the berries and tannins.

Made by its terroir

This appellation in red production only aims to represent « the Montpellier elegance » and forges its identity through three key words: History, Climate, and Pebbles.

Situated against the 1st foothills of the Cévennes and overlooking the Mediterranean, the northern reliefs are a barrier against the mistral, while the opening to the Mediterranean to the south allows for tempering the warm climate.
