History of the domain
The name of the Domaine comes from a small path that borders the vineyards in which we like to walk. This is also the path that this former pharmacist followed to become a winegrower.
At the gates of Montpellier, the Estate has 21 hectares of vines, spread over two « terroirs » in AOP Languedoc: mainly in Pic Saint Loup but also in Grés de Montpellier. The hills are swept by a westerly wind. It is the kingdom of the Tramontana which dries the vines after the rains and protects them from disease. Several types of soil, poor and very draining, make up the plots; rolled pebbles, limestone chips...
Wines : The estate produces 10 organic wines in the 3 colors in Pic Saint Loup, Grés de Montpellier, Languedoc and Pays d'Oc.
They are characterized by their freshness, fruitiness and finesse.
The vines are spread over 3 sectors: One facing north on limestone shards with clay, one at sunset (warmer) with conglomerates of rolled pebbles and the last at sunrise (cooler) on red clays with limestone chips.
