The village tells its story…
Le Triadou has a very ancient history, marked by traces of prehistoric occupation and Gallo-Roman vestiges such as a tile oven and an ancient wall-lined pathway.
Located on an axis linking Lattes to Pic Saint-Loup, the site has long been an important passageway. Formerly a simple farm dependent on Cassagnas, it took shape in the 19th century around its new church, built in 1858, marking the birth of the village as we know it today.
Not to be missed!
La Clastre : former pre-Roman church / priory, presbytery, cloister, part of the important medieval heritage of the village.
Prehistoric station and Roman villa : remains that show the antiquity of occupation and ancient agricultural activities.
A living terroir
In Le Triadou, the vine has found its ideal terroir. The local estates and their wines reflect the authentic character of the AOC Grès de Montpellier.
