Via Ferrata with Roc'n River
Located about thirty minutes north of Montpellier and just 10 minutes from Ganges, the via ferrata of Thaurac is found in the gorges of the Hérault, near the Demoiselles caves and right above the Roc’N River base. It is considered one of the most original and playful via ferratas in the Occitanie region.
The course alternates between passages in caves, ledges on the cliff face, zip lines, rappelling, and finishes with an impressive pendulum jump. Throughout the itinerary, you will discover the Thaurac massif, a site prized for climbing, caving, and highlining, with a bonus spectacular view over the gorges of the Hérault and the canoeing routes below.
