The village tells its story…
The existence of Saint-Clément has been recorded since 1109, when the bishop of Maguelone ceded to the abbot of Aniane his rights over the church of Saint-Clément-de-Fontaine.
Over the centuries, the village has developed around two ancient hamlets, La Clastre and Bouzenac, while embracing modernity: the arrival of the majestic work of the Saint-Clément Aqueduct marks a major turning point. Thus, Saint-Clément-de-Rivière has successfully combined ancient heritage, remarkable heritage, and contemporary dynamism.
Must see!
